    While exploring Salisbury, we stopped for lunch at Wildwood, drawn in by its bright and elegant interior. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff’s courteous and attentive service made a good first impression. The menu featured Italian classics with a few chef-inspired twists, promising a tempting selection.However, when the food arrived, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. My rib-eye steak, though cooked to the requested rare, fell short in quality; it was too sinewy and lacked the tenderness one would hope for at this price point. A higher grade of meat would have made a significant difference. My partner’s risotto, while delicious, seemed a bit meagre for £.—just a slightly larger portion would have made it feel more in line with its cost.Overall, Wildwood has the potential for a great dining experience, but a bit more attention to ingredient quality and portion sizes could elevate it to the next level.

    I had a lovely Valentine's dinner that was just perfect! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the heart-shaped pizza and the prawns & courgette linguine—everything was great in terms of taste and portion size. Our server was super friendly and made sure we were enjoying our meal, which really added to the atmosphere. The drinks were spot on too—I can’t recommend the love potion martini enough! Overall, it was an unforgettable evening with top-notch service and fantastic value for money.

    It's a lovely restaurant.. very quick waiters. They get a but busy sometimes, so you may have to chase them for the bill.. but it's a great place to eat. The food is yum. All round bang for you buck! Proper Italian foodVegetarian options: The Penné Arrabiata is good..
